Where is France: France is the largest country in western Europe and is one of the European countries with the greatest variety of landscapes. After all, l’Hexagone as it is often referred to in French is home to mountains, beaches, grass plains, dormant volcanoes, the largest sand dune in Europe, and incredible forests, among other geographical points of interest.

The country borders Belgium and Luxembourg in the northeast, Switzerland and Germany in the east, Italy and Spain in the south. The country also borders the principalities of Monaco and Andorra.
