If you’re looking for a good drink for a good price in the very heart of London, then stop your search because Bar 55 is your answer. Situated in trendy and hip Camden, not far from the crowds of Camden Market, the bar is the perfect place to head to on a Friday night. It also happens to be open every other night of the week as well!

Its close proximity to Camden canal makes Bar 55 the perfect place to start your night if you’re planning to head to any Camden bars afterward or to spend a relaxing evening in with friends. If you’re not sure whether it’s worth the price or not, here’s a Bar 55 Review!

Bar 55 serves a whole range of cocktails, spirits, and even wine. In fact, there are over 150 cocktails on offer! One of my favourite cocktails that they make has got to be an oreo/ Baileys/ Vodka/ ice cream concoction! If you’re looking for something a little more classic, then Bar 55 makes various fruit concoctions of the infamous mojito.

There are Happy Hours almost daily. With offerings such as two of the same cocktail for the price of one, the laid back atmosphere of the place almost makes up for the long queuing times. If you’re not a cocktail fan, then you can expect to pay a lot for non-cocktail menu items, even during happy hour.

Visit & Address: Bar 55, 31 Jamestown Rd, Camden Town, London NW1 7DB

Opening: 5pm- 12:30am Monday-Friday, 12opm- 12:30am Saturday-Sunday

The bar is popular with both locals and tourists to the Big Smoke. As a result, it’s always busy (even on a Sunday evening). Expect to spend a little while waiting to order your drinks; especially during Happy Hour! Seating wise, let’s just put it this way; I’ve never been to the bar and it’s not been packed! Make sure you book a table in advance if you don’t want to spend all evening standing.
